I feel a little sorry for non-writers sharing a home with writers.
It’s got to be challenging, sometimes. And most likely no one warned you it was going to be. Writers should come with warning labels.
So I came up with some friendly warnings. :) You can check them out over on A Good Blog is Hard to Find.

Fortunately I'm not living with a writer >:D

OMG, awesome post. And so true. =o)
Love those! So spot on. I hardly ever use a notebook anymore, but a really pretty one beckons me. And don't get me started on pens. I don't share my special pens.
The moodiness thing, and all the rest, yes, yes, yes. Too funny. But true.
Ha ha! LOVE this! And true. What is it with notebooks, post-its, and pens? Gotta have em!

This sounds too good to miss! I'm off to check it out. I must admit, there are times (many) when I feel back for my poor hubby. LOL!
Heading over there now, Elizabeth

Cold As Heaven--And you might want to keep the list mum...that way you can still seem mysterious to your wife (who is probably wondering about your odd, writerly behavior!)
B.E. Sanderson--Thanks!
Jaleh--I do most of my writing on my laptop, but I *still* can't resist a cool notebook. And I have notebooks all over my house. :) I need a housekeeper...
BettyZade--There's just something about them that attracts writers. And highlighters! And fancy pens. We should all ask for Office Max gift cards for Christmas...
Heather--Half the time mine looks like a deer in the headlights! I think he never knows what I'm going to do next...
Karen--Thanks!
Funny and true! I love the thing about not raiding our stash. Hand over the chocolate and no one will get hurt!
Elizabeth, great post! I resemble all of that, but instead of turning on the light in the middle of the night to scribble down an idea, I let it go around and around in my head all night, not getting any sleep! And then sometimes I forget what it was in the morning anyway!
We really should come with warnings! Off I go ... :)
