Review on Lesa’s Book Critiques

cropped 7 Hi everybody.  Today Pretty is as Pretty Dies  is being featured on Lesa’s Book Critique blog.  I was really excited by Lesa’s review.  She’s a library manager and professional reviewer and reads a ton of books.  It means a lot to me that she liked mine.

On Wednesday, Lesa’s interview with me will run, so I hope you’ll return for that.

That's a really good review, Elizabeth. Congrats!

And those awesome gnomes! I think I've been seeing them in my dreams--I can only imagine how they "haunt" you.

Awesome review :)

And I love the closeup of the gnome!

Elizabeth,

Thanks for linking to the review. I appreciate the comments from your readers. Pretty is as Pretty Dies was just one of the most enjoyable books I've read this year. Great characters and relationships! Thank you for them.

Great review. Sounds like the book is populated with my favorite...great and engaging characters.

Thanks for using my photo as the cover art!

Elizabeth, I'm so happy for your book launch and this wonderful review. I'm going to get your book for my 88-year-old mystery loving friend, Mary Alice. But I'm going to have to read it first!

Alan--The gnomes in my book are a lot more innocuous! Midnight Ink has quite an art dept.

Marybeth--Thanks--that means a lot coming from a gnome-lover like you!

Lesa--Thanks so much for the review. I really do appreciate it!

Galen--You're not nearly wicked-looking enough, Galen. :) Thanks for popping by. Love your do-over post today!

Helen--Mornin' to you, too! Great post you did on public speaking today: The Blood Red Pencil, y'all.

Karen--Thanks so much! Hope she enjoys it. :)

Congratulations on a lovely review. Anytime gnomes figure into a story I am immediately intrigued.

Well done!

Elspeth--Thanks so much! Yes, it's tough to fit gnomes into a mystery, but I managed to do it. :)

Labanan--Thanks so much! It inspired me, too, since I'm in the throes of revision for Berkley. And, when you're revising, sometimes it's easy to think the whole story stinks! A good review makes me remember that maybe I write okay after all.

Thanks so much, Jane!

Marvin--Thanks for popping by and for going back Wednesday. :)

Lesa review's are well-done and highly regarded, Elizabeth. But you earned a great review. Myrtle Clover is a gem, and I look forward to reading her next adventure. BTW, Lesa posted a note and the link on Dorothy L as well.
